Finding a used car you can trust is not easy. Uncertain mileage readings, questionable histories, and the constant worry of hidden problems can turn the car-buying experience into a stressful ordeal. We believe you deserve better. That's why every car in our showroom undergoes an in-depth inspection by our qualified technicians.

Here's a bird's eye view of what every vehicle in our lot goes through to meet our strict safety and performance standards:

Our Multi-Point Inspection Process Overview:

  • A. Pre-inspection

Before we dive under the hood, we run a comprehensive background check. We gather and analyze vehicle history reports, verifying mileage accuracy and ensuring a clean title. Our technicians have a keen eye for discrepancies. This crucial pre-inspection step allows us to understand the car's past and potential future.

  • B. Mechanical Inspection

The foundation of a reliable vehicle lies in its core mechanical components. Our ASE-certified technicians leave no stone unturned during this critical inspection phase.

Engine: The engine, being the heart of any vehicle, deserves the most attention. The person in charge will listen for any suspicious rattles or whispers, check for leaks that shouldn't be there, and make sure all the belts and hoses are in tip-top shape.

Transmission: First, we check for signs of slippage, hard shifting, or bearing noise. Next, we examine the fluid levels and condition for signs of wear or burning. We also electronically diagnose the transmission computer for any stored fault codes that might indicate potential issues.

Brakes: Up next, we measure the remaining brake pad thickness –  anything below a designated minimum gets flagged for replacement. We put rotors under the scanner, looking for warping or uneven wear that could cause vibrations during braking. We thoroughly examine the calipers as well to make sure there are no fluid leaks.

Suspension: The final act of our mechanical inspection focuses on the suspension system. We scrutinize each component – shocks, struts, bushings, and control arms. We further look for leaks in the shocks or worn-out bushings, which could translate to a bumpy ride, loose handling, or squeaking noise.

  • C. Electrical Inspection

Battery: We start by measuring the battery voltage. A healthy battery should have a voltage reading between 12.4 volts and 12.8 volts when the car is off. Up next, we perform a load test. By simulating the high current draw that occurs during engine start, we gauge the battery's ability to deliver sufficient starting power.

Wiring Harness: The electrical inspection extends to the car's wiring harness, the network of wires responsible for power distribution. We make sure there are no fraying, cracks, or loose connections. These issues can disrupt electrical flow and cause malfunctions in various car features. Apart from visual inspection, we perform a continuity test with a multimeter to check the electricity flow between specific points in the wiring harness.

Interior and Exterior Lighting: The final electrical check focuses on all interior and exterior lighting. Headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, and even dashboard lights undergo a thorough examination. We manually turn on all the lights to confirm all the bulbs are functional. If necessary, we re-adjust the headlight alignment for optimal nighttime visibility.

  • D. Interior & Exterior Inspection

Our crew manually checks all features (windows, locks, seats) to make sure all components are functioning seamlessly. The inspection then shifts to the exterior, where we examine the paint condition, body panel alignment, and tire tread depth. If we spot any rust during the process, we'll address it through a professional cleaning and touch-up process.

  • E. Road Test

The inspection doesn't end on the lift. We take every vehicle for a comprehensive road test. This real-world evaluation gives us a concrete idea of the car's overall performance, handling characteristics, and any potential issues that might not be apparent during a static inspection.
